Rowley Regis Station serves Blackheath and Rowley Regis in Sandwell. The station was opened in 1867 on the line from Birmingham Snow Hill to Stourbridge Junction. Six trains an hour.

In brief

The station was opened in 1867 by the Great Western Railway on their line from Birmingham Snow Hill to Stourbridge Junction under the name of Rowley Regis & Blackheath Station. It was renamed to simply Rowley Regis Station in 1968. Trains are quite frequent here with 6 an hour in both directions.

The Great Western Railway opened a station at Rowley Regis in 1867, it had the name Rowley Regis & Blackheath until 1968.

There used to be goods facilities here, but was withdrawn in July 1963.

The station is closer to the town of Blackheath, than it is to Rowley Village, part of the platforms are not in use.

The station does not have a footbridge, but both platforms can be access via the station building on Station Road.

The station has a modern bike hub facility, as well as a car park.

The station was rebuilt and modernised in 1999, with new railings, and sculptures.

The station has a ticket office and ticket machine, and has step free access. Both platforms have modern shelter canopies.
